Dear Clients:

You may recall our prior notice of September 14, 2015 advising both prospect and active clients to get ready for the relaunch of the Quebec Skilled Worker (QSW) program.

Well – the moment has arrived!

Yesterday, we got official word that QSW will be launching on November 4. You can read the official notice here on the Quebec immigration site:
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/informations/regles-procedures.html

(The link has not been translated into English yet.)

As you will read from the notice, the launching of the program will commence with two separate intake periods.

  • The first period will consist of hardcopy-only paper filings commencing November 4 and ending on December 15, 2015. A cap for this intake period is set at 3500 files.
  • The second intake period will consist of online-only filings commencing January 18, 2016 and ending on March 31, 2016. A cap for this intake is set at 2800 files.

As long as your application is received by Quebec in one of those two intake periods, and prior to quota retirement, the application will be considered received and valid.

For those who had a prior consultation with us, and wish to re-assess or re-confirm your eligibility to the program, we invite you to contact our office as soon as possible via the coordinates in this release or at Tel.: (888) 827-6605.

At the session, we’ll calculate (or recalculate) your point score and confirm your eligibility to the program. We will also discuss the rigorous requirements with respect to supporting documentation.

For those who do not need a consultation and wish to move forward with the Quebec filing, we invite you to e-mail Ms. Shelby Mora at shelby@globalrcic.com. Shelby will review if an engagement agreement has been provided or provide one as necessary.

Given a very tight deadline and a high volume of applicants, and given you only get “one shot” to file in this fiscal year ending on March 31, 2016 (and the margin of error is nil), we have partnered with a terrific and highly qualified team in Montreal to move those packets expeditiously but competently. Via our Montreal satellite office, our firm will be working with Montreal-based Phoenix Gestion Mobilité Internationale (“Phoenix International”) to deliver top-notch QSW applications within the timelines set by the intake periods.

Phoenix International is headed by Ms. Selin Deravedisyan-Adam, one of a handful of industry leaders in all immigration matters pertaining to Quebec and Canada. By combining forces with our Dallas team, we believe to have the capacity to deliver quality packets quickly – and prior to quota retirement.

We hope to hear you soon.

Sincerely,
